Halloween's coming

Ho, ho, ho. Its been a bit light on the old content this month. I will buck up my ideas, pull my socks up and generally cliche off into the sunset blogging as I go in November. Here is the update on October...
  • Professor Evil still is - proven lies this month 4, misary quotient 6, pointless stunts to encourage culture of fear 3.
  • The boy has moved in and we now know about grown-up things like buying a house (thanks to an IFA and 2 hours of hard core light-in-the-eyes questioning)
  • We've both had colds and indulged in whining and bickering
  • I went to a seminar on change management but have not had time to implement what I learnt due to all the firefighting I have been doing - ah, strategy. NB. Must book time management course.
  • I'm getting a temp in (to book time management course, do filing)
  • I had the exam for D852: Transformations in Media Culture at some kind of strange christian centre in Coventry next to a poster proclaiming "Jesus loves you" (if that were true they'd change the one-way system)
  • My friend Chronos had a party in the Magic Kingdom: he has, at last, embraced the dark side and chosen goth (because life sucks hmmmm'k)
  • Sheffield is a pit of Hades and sports the worst hotel in the world but has one redeeming feature
  • Brown will announce my new org on 15 November at a bigwig conference on nodnoL
  • Little Amber has finally had a holiday to Galway and she brought me home a lovely shamrock to love and purify the air of CO2
